Board selection by job, not by label

Marine, structural, shuttering, birch or pine-faced. We match the grade to the actual conditions: a wet bathroom carcass, a dry shelving run, a formwork panel that only needs a few pours.

Thickness specs that hold up

Shelving spans, kitchen carcasses, van conversion panels, decking sub-frames. We work out where 12 mm sags, where 18 mm is overkill, and where a double-skin is the honest answer.

Cutting plans for a 2440 x 1220 sheet

Nesting layouts that account for grain direction, blade kerf and edge-banding allowance. Offcuts get sized to standard strips so they stay usable on the next build instead of becoming firewood.

Void and glue line checks

Ways we work through a board problem with you

Not every job needs the same level of help. Some people just want a second opinion on a sheet before they pay for it. Others are sitting with a full cut list and a deadline. Pick the format that matches where you are.

Sheet check before you buy

Send a photo of the sheet edge and the grade stamp. We look at glue line, void content and face veneer, then tell you whether it suits the job or belongs on a different one.
